When life gives you lemons, you chill out and drink them. No really, make lemonade! 🍋
You've gotta love the figurative meaning of this phrase and you may want to take it literally too.
Lemons and their juice can provide about 13% of your daily vitamin C requirement. Vitamin C provides banger antioxidants that help in cell regeneration! So, here are some not so "lemony" drinks you can try to get your C's in:
Lemon Water:
A few slices of lemon into warm or chilled water will remove the tang from the lemon and give your water some personality!
Lemon Spritzer:
Add a club soda or sparkling water to a squeezed out lemon (to get the juice) and enjoy a chilling drink with some kick!
Tea with Lemon:
If you are a tea lover, you'll obviously love this! Not only does it have awesome health benefits but it really does change up the mundanity of tea with it's sour-y taste.
Lemonade:
The lemon drink with the most sass and sweetness... love it. If you enjoy an extra sweetness with your drinks this drink which is literally just sugar, lemon juice and water will make your afternoons!
It may seem like it's all lemony when life does it's thing, but if you put up your feet for a breather you get to have a little fun too!
