In the Kitchen: Baking Lemon Loaf.

Hello, love!
Welcome to a new blog post, different time from our usual Sunday noon date but I bet you would not mind for more of this Luxe goodness.
Today's post is something a little different but it might be here to stay! We're in the kitchen and we are baking.
Spending my time either cooking or baking is something I enjoy, trying new recipes and creating food I love. One of my favourite easy bake recipes is the lemon loaf recipe. It always turns out supple and if you don't like the sourness in the raw lemons this recipe balances sweet and sour perfectly.
Let's dig in, this is the ingredient list:
2 lemons + zest (obviously)
3 eggs.
1 cup plain yoghurt.
1 cup sugar.
1½ cup flour.
2 teaspoons of baking powder.
½ teaspoon of salt.
½ cup of vegetable oil.
Icing sugar.
Additions:
Loaf pan.
Parchment paper or foil.
Directions:
Whisk eggs, sugar and plain yogurt.
Add vegetable oil.
Add flour, baking powder and salt then mix well.
Juice and grate lemons for zest.
Prep your loaf pan by greasing it.
Preheat at 180°C and bake for 40 minutes.
Optional:
Once your loaf has baked, you may drizzle a mixture of icing sugar and lemon juice.
Enjoy this sweet and sour treat by itself but if you're a tea lover then they pair so well.
