Got a pre-game for sleep? You should.
I love me a good routine, but I do have to admit there is some neglect towards my bedtime routine. A few more minutes of screen time can easily turn to an hour. A little snack into a binge?
These may have little reactions in a year or five but if you have any plans to live a few more decades, the innocent byt unhelpful nightly habits will not be sustainable.
This is how you can attempt a head start:
• Consistent sleep & wake up times.
• Little to no foods three hours before bed.
• Reduce liquids to limit chances of interruption during the night.
• Relaxing tunes to calm you into sleep.
• Keep the room dark.
• Be comfortable, warm and undistracted.
Sleep patterns have an impact on how we navigate stress in our lives, with a well-rested body anyone has a better chance to deal with their daily lives.
