Foods That can Make Your Meals Healthier

First, I'll admit there might no "superfoods" but I swear by these as standalone or additions to meals. These foods are packed with vitamins, fibers and elements that will make your meals healthier.
LEAFY GREENS.
Also known as cruciferous vegetables, leafy greens are my best friends and I find prepping them so easy PEASy (get it?)
Cauliflower + Broccoli + Spinach + Brussel Sprouts are some examples of these vegetables.
Filled with vitamins E, C, K and Fiber, adding these to your suppers will take them up a notch.
HOW TO ADD THEM TO MEALS
In a roast, when baking your chicken you can add some cauliflower and broccoli to the roast towards the end and serve the vege as a side.
Adding a spinach to a salad will greenify it more, but you do not have to cook it to have it in your salad, adding it raw has far more benefits anyway.
Stir fry, any of our fave GREENS work really well for stir fries!
Smoothies are the greatest way to ingest your greens faster and in a more fun. Spinach, especially is an awesome addition to green smoothies.
Vitamin K is a friend to your blood! It helps with clotting and blood metabolism.
PEANUT BUTTER.
To its nuttiness and deliciousness, there is a protein-packed food, peanut butter has omega-6 which helps to stimulate skin and hair growth, maintain bone health and regulate metabolism.
HOW TO ADD IT TO MEALS
Peanut Sandwich! A classic, a person favorite.
If a peanut sandwich does not tickle your fancy, you can jam up your smoothie with this baby.
If you are a breakfast person, adding peanut butter to your OATS is another way to enjoy this superfood.
ALMONDS.
This superfood is NUTS. Also with Fiber, Magnesium, Calcium and Vitamin E - Almonds are some of my favourite nuts which I always use for snacks in between meals. It's Calcium is sure to improve bone health as they fill you.
HOW TO HAVE THEM WITH MEALS
In salads, you can add almonds to any and all salads. This food is so easy to work with and since it needs to preparation, you can just fill your salad(s) with it.
As a quick snack. If I never eat any other snack, I'll die holding onto almonds (and potato chips!) Almonds are really filling but they will not make you feel heavy, I enjoy them as snacks whenever I feel peckish but I don't really need to eat.
CITRUS FRUIT.
Obviously filled with Vitamin C, citrus fruit are some of my favorite fruit family.
Citrus Fruit may help increase healthy cholesterol and lower unhealthy cholesterol!
HOW TO ENJOY VARIOUS CITRUS FRUIT.
Freshly squeezed orange turned juice in the morning to boost yourself.
If you fancy the chore of it, lemon juice can aide to a delicious Hollandaise Sauce.
Fruit salads will strive with flavor when any citrus fruit is in the mix.
